AMAR

A premiere by the Waacking Switzerland Community.

With AMAR, Tamara Mancini brings 26 dancers from her Waacking Intensive programme together on stage for the first time — a pioneering moment for both the theatre and the Waacking scene. Inspired by her solo La Vie en Rose, the piece celebrates the diversity of love, with Waacking as its central movement language, complemented by voice and body percussion.

With lightness, humour and playful depth, AMAR invites the audience to dream and transports them into an emotionally charged, visually striking and unique universe. The piece is a bold and artistically powerful statement about the diversity and expressive power of love, embodied through a new collective form of Waacking.
